The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) aims to foster community interest in education, promote closer liaison between school and parents as well as assist in the provision of school materials and amenities. The Association is a vital group, which over the years has greatly assisted students and staff.
Parents are encouraged to come along to meetings and join this very active organization. The P&C is a great forum to find out more about the priorities and performance of the school and to have your say in collaborative decision-making and school planning.
Meetings are held twice a term at 7pm on Monday of week 1 and Wednesday of week 8. Most meetings are held in the school staff room. Details and dates are published in the newsletter and on the skoolbag app. It is $2 / year to be a financial member and receive all agendas and minutes via email. All parents, carers and friends of HPS school community are welcome to attend our meetings.
